It allows you to run a tube amplifier at high volume to achieve natural tube saturation and overdrive while lowering the physical output to manageable bedroom or studio levels.

• Reactive Load Design: Unlike cheap resistive attenuators that use basic resistors, the MiniMASS utilizes an actual speaker motor (magnet and voice coil) inside the enclosure. This preserves the authentic interaction, feel, and dynamic response between your amplifier's output transformer and the load.
• Wattage Capability: Rated for 50 watts max. Weber Speakers officially recommends using it with amplifiers rated at 35 watts and lower if you plan to fully dim or heavily attenuate the amplifier safely.
• Multi-Impedance Selector: Features a front panel toggle switch to easily select between 4, 8, or 16 ohms, making it highly versatile for switching between different speaker cabinets and amp heads.
• Treble Compensation Switch: Attenuation naturally rolls off high frequencies due to human hearing perception at low volumes. The MiniMASS counteracts this with a 3-position switch offering 0dB, +3dB, or +6dB of treble boost to keep your tone crisp.
• Continuous Adjustment & Bypass: Features a smooth volume dial offering continuous attenuation from roughly -3dB to over -50dB, alongside a true MASS bypass switch to completely disengage the unit.
• Line Out / Dummy Load Capability: When the volume control is turned all the way down, the unit acts as a complete dummy load for silent recording. You can run a dedicated 1/4-inch unbalanced line out straight into an audio interface and apply your favorite speaker cabinet impulse responses (IRs) in your DAW.
