WORKING CONDITION: Very Good. This Reverbalux sounds incredible, with all of the spooky echoverb one would expect from this extremely rare unit. With the S41 Model, adjust the Echo Volume for the amount of Echo
delay. No. 1 position is a short delay; No. 2 is a long delay; and No.3 is a combination of 1 & 2 at the same time. The “Echo Volume” is used to adjust the amount of echo desired, and the “reverb” control is used to adjust the “hangover” or decay time of the Echo. If this control is set too high, oscillation will occur.

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Good. There is heavy metal wear on the oil can side of the chassis, and someone drew a smiley face on the front (which could be removed) but this does not affect the unit's performance. The iO jacks, knobs, and switches are all in good working order.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a very rare Vintage Standel Reverbalux Model S41 Tel-Ray Adineko Vacuum Tube Oil Can Echo & Reverb Unit. 

The Standel Reverbalux is a rare, vintage standalone effects unit produced in the early 1960s (approximately 1963–1964). Rather than a standard guitar amplifier, it is a specialized oil can echo and reverb device designed to be used between an instrument and an amp.

• Adineko "Oil Can" System: Developed by Tel-Ray Electronics, this technology uses a rotating flywheel inside a canister filled with electrolytic oil to store an analog charge, creating thick, warbly echoes and moody reverb.
• Tube Preamp: Early models like the 840 and S41 feature vacuum tubes (typically a 12AX7 and 12AU7) that color and "thicken" the guitar signal even when the echo is bypassed.
• Controls: Depending on the model, it typically features an "Echo Volume" knob and sometimes an "Echo Delay" switch with three positions:
