WORKING CONDITION: Excellent. This guitar is a masterpiece of playability in design. Leo Scala has thought of everything in the realm of making the best golden-era Les Paul-style guitars and upgraded his construction into a truly unique piece of sonic art. The action and fretwork on this guitar are excellent, and the resonance (due, in no small part, to the very clever side sound vents) is echoed in the stunning Scala Retrophonic PAF-style Pickups, also handmade here in Los Angeles. This is an incredible instrument.

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Excellent. Since this guitar is hand-relic'd by Leo Scala, it has built-in patina on every angle and one could spend days admiring the attention to detail. You can tell he really put some time into this. The body, neck, frets, and hardware are all spectacular. It has no added player wear to the guitar, as it was never really used or played. The current owner custom-ordered the guitar and had it named "Jamie". Once received, the owner went into a more acoustic direction, and so this guitar is, by all means, "New".
