It functions as a digital random voltage generator and noise source, utilizing a pseudo-random shift register to create evolving patterns for both modulation and audio-rate sound generation.

• Pseudo-Random Shift Register: Operates like an 8-bit "conveyor belt" that captures and shifts data based on a clock signal, creating repetitive but evolving random sequences.
• Noise Source: Includes a dedicated digital noise source and an analog white noise output.
• Random Voltage Outputs: Features two quantized random voltage outputs (0–10V) that can be set to 1V (octave) or 1/12V (semitone) intervals.
• Variable Use Cases: It can act as a standard noise source, a random clock, a CV generator, a VCO, or an audio processor.
