PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This listing is for an ITI MEP-230 Parametric Equalizer EQ. This EQ has some interesting history as it comes to us from Bill Cooper, owner of the historic American Recording Company here in Los Angeles. 

American Recording Co. (often stylized as American Recording Company) was a renowned independent recording studio in North Hollywood, operational from the early 1960s through the 1980s. It was part of the San Fernando Valley's "hidden gem" studios, offering a low-key, distraction-free environment away from the glamour of central Hollywood, which appealed to artists seeking focused creativity. While not as flashy as Capitol or the Record Plant, it hosted sessions for several classic rock, pop, and singer-songwriter acts during the '60s and '70s golden era of album production.
