WORKING CONDITION: Good -This "Player" guitar offers a comfortable feel in the open 1-5th fret chord positions, albeit with slightly higher action beyond the 7th fret. It produces clean notes across the neck, delivering the warm, rich tone characteristic of a small-bodied vintage Martin. Despite the age and wear, it retains its clarity, making it ideal for recording without any unwanted noises, buzzes, or rattles—just the timeless sound of a well-aged acoustic guitar.

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Good -  The finish is checked lightly throughout the top back and sides and there is heavy fretboard wear from 1-3 and heavy strum wear beneath and around the pickguard, which is not original.  The frets are not original and show only minimal wear. There is a 7" crack in the lower bout of the body which does not appear to have been treated yet and there are a couple of superficial cracks in the top behind the bridge. Both the neck and bridge were adorned with some ornate vine inlay at some point in ages past which seems to be holding up nicely. While players preferring very low action might justify a neck re-set, the neck is presently in good condition, rendering this a beloved and playable guitar.
