WORKING CONDITION: Excellent. These speakers were gently used and sound like the Auratones they were designed to recreate.

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Very Good. Both MixCubes are in great shape with only a few small (barely visible) bumps on one of the monitors.

These speakers have some interesting history as they come to us from Bill Cooper, owner of the historic American Recording Company here in Los Angeles. 

American Recording Co. (often stylized as American Recording Company) was a renowned independent recording studio in North Hollywood, operational from the early 1960s through the 1980s. It was part of the San Fernando Valley's "hidden gem" studios, offering a low-key, distraction-free environment away from the glamour of central Hollywood, which appealed to artists seeking focused creativity. While not as flashy as Capitol or the Record Plant, it hosted sessions for several classic rock, pop, and singer-songwriter acts during the '60s and '70s golden era of album production.
