WORKING CONDITION: Excellent - Plays amazing!  The action is perfect and it plays fast and clean throughout the neck. All of the electronics and controls are working properly. Tonally this guitar sounds incredible as well. In all, the working condition is excellent. 

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Good - Some scuffs and abrasions can be seen around the body of the guitar. The guitar suffered a broken headstock but it was professionally repaired by one of LA's best Norik Renson, who also re-fretted the guitar. With the re-fret, the inlay at the 3rd fret was replaced. The tuning pegs are not original but are fitted very nicely and work smoothly.  The finish is also nicely checked throughout the body and the binding and overall fit integrity of the guitar is in very good shape. It is a wonderful instrument.

According to our research, this guitar matches the specs of the 1946 ES-150, the last year of the Gibson Script logo and the body width of 17". However, the '46 ES-150 typically had dot inlays and not trapezoid inlays, so we are thinking these were either a unique build at the time or perhaps added later.
