WORKING CONDITION: Excellent - Compared to our other John Cruz Masterbuilt guitars on hand right now, this guitar has a decidedly more "mellow" tone acoustically, it might be because of its weight or rosewood neck but it is delightfully warm sounding in comparison. All of the electronics and controls are working properly. This guitar is a dream to play, the action and notes are fast and clean throughout the neck. In all, everything is fully functional and in excellent working condition. 

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Excellent - The guitar was purchased new and kept as part of a collection of high-end John Cruz Masterbuilt guitars and played minimally. There are some light strum marks on the pickguard but otherwise appears "new". Considering it is a heavy relic guitar who can tell anyway?  The frets and all hardware are in new condition and the master relic job has an exceptional warm look and feel.

Every detail of this instrument has been meticulously reproduced using original tooling, capturing the authentic spirit of the past. The aged appearance, painstakingly created through meticulous relic-ing, reflects the natural wear and tear accumulated over the years: nicks, scratches, a worn finish, rusty hardware, and aged plastic components.

Crafted from select alder, the body boasts a nitrocellulose lacquer finish, radiating a classic charm. A three-ply aged mint-green pickguard adorns the guitar, adding to its vintage allure. The early '60s C-shaped maple neck, also treated with nitrocellulose lacquer, features a round laminated rosewood fingerboard with a comfortable 9.5" radius. Adorned with 21 medium-jumbo frets and a bone nut, the neck offers a truly remarkable playing experience.
